Mar de doce reserves the right to deny or restrict access to this Website and/or the services contained herein, at any time and without prior notice, to any User who breaches the provisions of these conditions.

Prohibited Activities: The User agrees to make proper use of the content and tools, and explicitly NOT to use them to:

  • Engage in illicit or illegal activities or those contrary to good faith and public order.

  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with the security features of the site or access to our administration and curation panels (Curator Workspace).

III. PRODUCT, SHIPPING, AND RETURN POLICIES

The purchase and sale of products curated by Mar de doce are governed by the following conditions:

A. Product Categories and Returns

  1. Furniture: All furniture items (including seating, tables, storage, and outdoor furniture) are final sale and non-returnable.

  2. Lighting, Decor, and Accessories: May be returned within 14 days of delivery for store credit or exchange, subject to a 20% to 25% restocking fee, plus shipping costs. Items must be in their original, unopened condition.

  3. Fabrics, Wallpaper, and Tabletop: All sales of these items are final. No returns or exchanges are accepted.

B. Payment Terms Full payment, including taxes and shipping, is required at the time of order placement for lighting, decor, accessories, and textiles. For custom or special-order furniture items, a 50% deposit is required at the time of the order, with the remaining balance due prior to shipping.

C. Artisanal Craftsmanship and Variations Mar de doce's products and collections are crafted by expert artisans using premium materials. Our finishes often result in natural variations (in color, grain, or texture), making each piece unique. These subtle differences are hallmarks of the exclusive design and the nature of the materials, and shall under no circumstances be considered manufacturing defects.

D. Shipping and Delivery Shipping costs are the Buyer's responsibility. Claims for transit damage must be filed within 48 hours of receipt. We offer a specialized delivery service (White Glove Delivery) for selected regions, which includes in-home delivery, unpacking, assembly, and removal of packaging materials. For this service, the space must be cleared beforehand.

IV. PRODUCT REPRESENTATION AND "HOME STYLIST" TOOL

We strive for maximum accuracy when representing our products on the Website and through our Home Stylist preview tool. However, due to the artisanal nature of the products and variations in device displays, actual colors, textures, and dimensions may differ slightly from those shown on your screen. The previews generated by our tools are for illustrative and curation purposes, and Mar de doce does not guarantee that the digital representation will be exactly identical to the physical piece.

V. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY

THE SITE AND TOOLS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. Mar de doce is not responsible for any damages of any kind that may arise from: errors or omissions in the content, temporary unavailability of the portal, or the transmission of malicious programs, despite having adopted all necessary technological measures to prevent it.
